Cyprus Dossier 03: In Crisis


The latest issue from Cyprus Dossier collective, titled In Crisis, where you can find my small contribution on existential crisis. 


This third issue runs parallel to the  Terra Mediterranea - In Crisis, a contemporary art program organised by the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre and the Pierides Foundation in correlation to the Cyprus Presidency of the EU council. The Terra Mediterranea program opened on July the 4th, with two exhibitions at the Nicosia Municipal Centre (Old Power Station) and Ethnological Museum - House of Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios to engage a dialogue and critical thinking on the economic, political, religious, social and existential, present day crises. The exhibitions run until the 30th of December and include work from Katerina Attalidou, Savvas Christodoulides, Peter Eramian, Stelios Kalinikou, Nikos Kouroussis, Maria Loizidou, Efi Savvides and Constantinos Taliotis.

Frottages 2012



Some of the frottages I've been conducting around San Francisco for my new project whilst completing an artist residency at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, CA. The first one is from the Palace of Fine Arts and the one under from the War Memorial Complex in the Civic Center.

An installation consisting of plaster, stones, sand and red soil generated for the Gender Equality Now competition organised by posterfortomorrow. The symbol depicted is the unification of the Hindu symbols Linga and Yoni.
